I first met Sharanya during lunch with a mutual friend.

An up and coming poet and I was privileged to own one of the limited copies of her handmade chapbook of poetry.

My first impressions of her were intense and extremely sensuous. Sexy.

And it shows in her poetry:

HAIKU – TONGUE

What I want is your

tongue inside my mouth, writing

a poem upon mine.

Sharanya will be holding a “Solo Spoken Word Show” at the No Black Tie (17 Jalan Mesui (off Jalan Nagasari) this Sunday June 3rd 2007.
